NLGS to be shelved as UK Funding for Lending scheme opens

Banks participating in the UK government’s National Loan Guarantee Scheme (NLGS) are expected to phase out their involvement in the project in favour of Funding for Lending, a scheme jointly led by HM Treasury and the Bank of England intended to stimulate lending to the real economy, which opened today.
