SSAs exploit dollar drought to defy swap spreads, eurozone squabbles
With sovereign squabbling and a Spanish stand-off plunging the eurozone into chaos, a number of SSA borrowers are bringing dollar new issues this week, defying the tight swap spreads that make issuing in the currency extraordinarily difficult for the best rated borrowers. KfW and Network Rail are the latest two names to enter the fray.
