Esprit launches rights to fund ‘transformation’
Hong Kong-listed clothing company Esprit has launched a rights issue to raise HK$5.25bn ($677.4m) towards its $18.5bn transformation plan after announcing a 22.8% fall in sales over the last quarter. The offering will represent half of the company’s current market capitalisation.
