Gemdale International Holdings made its debut in the dollar bond market at the start of the week, selling a $350m bond that generated strong demand — and proved that despite worries about investor indigestion, successful Chinese property deals are still possible. But investors argue that in order to ensure a similar success, future issuers will have to offer pricing premiums or neat structures.
