Cnooc's bonds widen despite huge initial demand
The Chinese energy company’s US$2 billion 10-year and 30-year bonds, which totaled orders of US$5.7 billion, widened in the secondary market on January 25. Some traders blamed it being priced too tightly over US Treasuries that turned volatile recently.
