LatAm leads as BBVA salsas to CIB success
Provisioning against bad loans again took a huge chunk out of BBVA’s third quarter profits, but the Spanish bank found solace in resilient corporate and investment banking. BBVA said this week that CIB pre-tax profits were up 58% year-on-year, at €415m, for the three months ending September.
