Thai CB governor says bank capital enough for Basel III
Prasarn Trairatvorakul, the governor of the Bank of Thailand, said that he thinks the banking sector is capitalised to a high enough level to mean that no further fund-raising will be needed to reach Basel III standards. He also thinks that more M&A is unlikely. Ben Davies reports.
