QFIIs cannot offload China futures exposure, says CSRC
China’s securities regulator wants to restrict qualified foreign institutional investor licence holders passing their exposure to the local futures market to non-QFII holders. The latter had wanted to gain exposure to China’s futures market via derivatives.
