RMB becoming top three trade currency, says HSBC
The renminbi is already considered a top three currency for trade settlement by trade counterparties around the world, according to a survey by HSBC. This is fuelled by growing global interest, the currency’s expected internationalisation and an increasing number of Beijing-approved counterparties on the mainland.
