Abanka presses on with unpopular cap hike
Slovenia’s third largest bank, Abanka, is starting the second round of a €90m capital raise after a first attempt at selling new shares to investors received a 25% takeup. The bank has been searching for a way to recapitalise over the past year, as firms across the country seek to meet a regulatory shortfall in the worst-hit banking market in central and eastern Europe.
