Berenberg takes aim at UK underwriting terms

Berenberg Bank reported a strong set of 2012 results on Tuesday with sharply higher equity trading volumes helping client commissions in its institutional brokerage to rise 55%. The partnership’s investment bank now has its sights set on breaking into the UK equity capital market where it sees opportunities for underwriting capital raises.
