IFC makes first move into naira
The International Finance Corporation sold its debut Nigerian naira-denominated bond — dubbed a Naija bond — on Tuesday to high investor interest. The IFC hopes that the bond, the first sold in the domestic market from a non-resident issuer, will stimulate development of the local corporate market.
