BPCE ends senior unsecured hiatus but issuance still down by a quarter
BPCE’s short floating rate note on Wednesday edged first quarter senior unsecured supply towards €42bn. But banks junking assets as part of their attempts to shrink their balance sheets means that volumes are still down about 25% compared to the same period in 2012, EuroWeek data shows.
