Clegg’s FLS ‘steroids’ call gets short shrift
The cost savings that UK banks make through the government’s Funding for Lending Scheme (FLS) will take time to filter through to small and medium sized businesses, the UK Treasury has said. The assessment came after calls from deputy prime minister Nick Clegg for the scheme to be "put on steroids".
