KPN’s €1.1bn, £400m blowout shows deep double-B hybrid bid
Koninklijke KPN entered unknown territory in the corporate hybrid securities market on Thursday, by pricing more than €1.5bn of bonds with speculative grade ratings. The huge demand for the deal proved that hybrids in euros and sterling are a financing option in large scale, even for companies rated on the lowest rungs of investment grade.
