Socar plays Azerbaijan’s rarity card
The State Oil Company of the Azerbaijan Republic (Socar) pulled in a $3bn book for a $1bn 10 year bond on Wednesday evening, double the size of the debut it printed in February last year. Deutsche Bank arranged this week’s deal, which was trading around 100-100.25 on Thursday morning, having been priced at par.
