AIA makes bond debut to refi acquisition
Insurance company AIA made its debut in the international bond market this week, finding plenty of demand from anchor accounts that allowed the company to raise $1bn from a deal split between five and 10 year maturities. But not all investors were happy with the extension cost the company paid, and the longer-dated tranche widened on its secondary debut.
