Japanese retail investors become net sellers of foreign assets
Retail investors in Japan have starting selling off their foreign debt and equity investments more than they’re buying then, Nomura notes. The levels are unlikely to be as high as during the Lehman Brothers collapse but the investment bank is closely monitoring the situation.
