House of Lords questions EU unification
The UK House of Lords’ European Union committee has launched an inquiry into the EU’s proposals for genuine economic and monetary union (GEMU), saying it is necessary to explore the "massive" consequences on non-euro member states of an increasingly integrated monetary union within the EU’s "inner core".
