No need for index buyers as Rwanda book hits $3.5bn
The Republic of Rwanda this week stepped into the bond market after three years of waiting, shaking off its troubled past in the eyes of the market and printing a $400m 10 year bond. At $3.5bn, the order book for the deal was more than half the size of the country’s $6.9bn gross domestic product.
