Not a single dollar bond has priced in Asia ex-Japan this week, as markets remain jittery on the prospect of a slowing of the US Federal Reserve’s quantitative easing programme. Debt bankers in the region are now divided over whether to advise issuers to head into local currency bonds or wait to swoop into the US dollar market at the first opportunity, writes Frances Yoon.
