Opinion: Bearer bonds aren’t worth the battle

The ability of US bond issuers to sell Samurai bonds after March 18 is in jeopardy after a tax law that allows the issuance of bearer bonds is repealed. And if US regulators don’t come up with a solution fast, it’ll be American issuers that will lose out.
