RenCap veteran Cornthwaite comes back to banking, joins rival VTB

Andrew Cornthwaite, the former deputy CEO of Renaissance Capital, has joined VTB Capital, the Russian state-owned banking giant that many analysts partly blamed for RenCap’s international difficulties last year and the resulting scaleback of that bank’s operations.
