Asset quality review may force bail-ins, says Barnier
EU commissioner Michel Barnier has said he does not expect ‘dramatic results’ from the European Central Bank’s asset quality review and stress tests, but admitted that the exercise could expose funding gaps at some European banks that would need to be resolved through bail-ins.
