ECM investors hit the ejector seat to protect 2013

Equity investors turned their noses up at three new issues in quick succession this week, leaving both an Austrian IPO and a Dutch convertible cancelled and a second IPO, from Dubai, reduced and delayed. Bankers blamed the new reticence, after months of aggressive buying, on year-end fatigue and the poor aftermarket performance of some recent deals.
