Isbank offers final slice of Basel II sub

Türkiye Is Bankasi opened books on an old style subordinated tier two bond on Tuesday morning. The deal gives investors a last bite at Basel II Turkish bank debt before the Basel III format comes into force in January next year. But bankers away from the bond were puzzled that the issuer would choose to issue an instrument that will soon be out of date.
