Maiden results bring fears and cheers for Esure, Countrywide

Life for newly listed companies can be hard, learnt the backers, management and IPO investors of car insurer Esure this week. Its shares slumped 21% when it reported maiden earnings which were perceived as weak despite revenue and profit growth.
