Fitch revises Malaysia outlook to negative on public debt
Fitch has revised its outlook on Malaysia to negative as it believes that the prospects for budgetary reform and fiscal consolidation to address weaknesses in the public finances have worsened since the governing coalition's poor showing in the May 2013 general elections, in which it took power with less than half of the popular vote.
