Bangkok Bank wowed the international bond markets after it priced a $1bn dual trancher that attracted stronger demand and tighter pricing for the 10 year than the five year. This has raised hopes that other Asian issuers will be able to garner attention for longer bonds despite expectations that rates will rise in the future.
