Gordian argues Moody’s Theta cut is unwarranted

Theta, the $10bn investment vehicle owned by investment management company Gordian Knot, has had its counterparty and senior debt ratings downgraded by Moody’s.

The agency said the credit quality of Theta’s CDS reference and cash bond portfolios have deteriorated and its cash bond portfolio has experienced price falls.
