Alcatel and Soitec spark European convertibles into action
The European convertible market sprung back to life after the summer break this week with a Eu1bn bond from telecoms equipment company Alcatel-Lucent — the largest issue since March — and a Eu135m deal from specialist semiconductor manufacturer Soitec.
