Corporate names limber up for final burst
A varied cast of borrowers, including UK transport operator Stagecoach, Italian cement maker Buzzi Unicem, Danish utility Dong Energy and SolarWorld, a German renewable energy company, are lining up to gauge interest from investors on what could be some of the last corporate bond deals of the year.
The companies are set to embark on another round of roadshows in the next week, after a flurry of new issues on Tuesday and Wednesday showed the corporate bond market was determined to end 2009 with a flourish.
