DB dodges Basel 3

Implementation of Basel 3 could yet prompt a second wave of European bank capital raising but Tuesday’s results from Deutsche Bank suggested that despite coming out of the EBA stress tests in a low relative position, it is unlikely to be among the issuers, said analysts.

Deutsche generated 150bp of equity tier one during the first half of 2011, 60bp of it during the second quarter.
