CBQ makes first inside curve print for CEEMEA in 2012
Commercial Bank of Qatar priced its $500m 3.375% five year note on Tuesday inside its own curve, becoming the first issuer from the CEEMEA region to do so this year. BNP Paribas, HSBC and Morgan Stanley arranged the deal.
There was over $3.2bn of demand for the bond, which was printed at the tight end of revised price guidance of 235bp-240bp over mid-swaps. Initial guidance had been released earlier in the day on Tuesday at 250bp over.
