Severstal tempted by low dollar yields
Alexey Kulichenko, chief financial officer at Russian steel company Severstal, is eyeing a return to the dollar bond market. He told EuroWeek the strong market conditions and a recent tightening of the issuer’s spreads could tempt it into placing a dollar bond in the near future.
"If youd asked me two months ago whether we were considering a bond, Id have said we werent interested," said Kulichenko. "But were seeing very positive trends in the market on spreads and we would consider it now."
