BofA brews up €114m De’Longhi sell-down

The De’Longhi family, owners of 75% of the Italian household appliance firm, sold 8% of the firm in a €114m accelerated placement on Friday morning in their first sale of stock since the 2001 IPO.

Bank of America Merrill Lynch, a relationship bank for the firm ever since the IPO more than a decade ago, was sole lead for the sell down which followed reverse inquiry from investors hoping for increased liquidity in the stock which only trades around €1m a day.
