Additional tier one deals closer as CRD confirmed

The European Council has approved the compromise text on the fourth Capital Requirements Directive and the first Capital Requirements Regulation, after the European Parliament reached final agreement last week. The agreement opens up the market for Basel III-compliant additional tier one capital transactions, say bankers.
