ABN Amro uses yield appeal in Aussie dollars
ABN Amro took advantage of investor hunger for yield in on Thursday, pricing a six year Australian dollar deal flat to its curve. Investors have been eager for Australian and New Zealand dollar paper in recent months owing to the high yields on offer in both currencies.
ANZ priced the A$200m 5% March 2019 paper at 135bp over mid-swaps, in line with guidance at the 135bp area. The pricing was more or less flat to ABN Amros outstanding Australian dollar debt, according to the lead.
