RBS links bond and loans origination as Crawford quits
Royal Bank of Scotland is to merge its loan capital markets and corporate bond origination teams to form an enlarged Western Europe debt capital markets business. The merger comes as Pippa Crawford, head of Western European loan capital markets, said she was leaving the bank.
Nicholas Bamber, head of investment grade corporate bond origination and private placements, will head the new team.
Crawford is moving to Australia for family reasons. She is married to Bart Campbell, one of a consortium of four investors that recently bought Melbourne Storm rugby league team.
