CABP gets EBRD boost for domestic bonds
The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development said this week that it will consider supporting the domestic bond issues of Crédit Agricole Bank Polska. It will buy up 30% of deals from the issuer's Z2bn ($650m) MTN programme this year.
The MTN programme was set up to diversify CABP's funding base and lower its dependency on funding from its French parent. It is also intended to strengthen CABP’s balance sheet with a longer tenor funding base matching the tenors of its loans.
