Lee was previously a director and head of investment banking in Taiwan for CSFB, where he had worked for four years. At Deutsche Bank, he reports to Philip Crotty, the head of global corporate finance in Asia. He is based in Taipei.

  • An aggressive approach to the US market did not entirely go to plan for UK consumer products company Diageo this week, which had to accept a wider launch spread than it had initially hoped to sell $1bn of five year global bonds. The deal, led by Credit Suisse First Boston and Deutsche Bank, was originally whispered to investors at 60bp, but was launched at 62.5bp area and ultimately priced at 65bp.
