  • Mandated arranger Sumitomo hopes to launch the Eu100m five year EIB guaranteed facility for Polish telco TPSA into syndication next week. For more details see EuroWeek 791.
  • Two well attended bank meetings were held this week for the $700m 14 year loan for Oryx GT Limited. The first was in London on Tuesday and the second in Dubai yesterday (Thursday). The deal was launched into syndication last week. Three tickets are on offer: arranger for a take of $30m for a fee of 75bp; lead manager for a take of $15m for 60bp; and manager for a ticket of $10m for a fee of 50bp.   • Mandated arrangers ABN Amro, Dexia, HVB Group and WestLB will sign banks into the $450m 5-1/2 year term loan for Gazprom today (Friday) in Amsterdam. The deal has been oversubscribed but will not be increased. During general syndication 20 banks joined the four arrangers and three sub-underwriters.   • Development Bank of Singapore has closed the S$150m three year term loan for Singapore Post. The deal was oversubscribed but not increased. ABN Amro joined as arranger with another four banks.
  • The 18 banks that joined the $330m 364 day facility for Absa Bank will be signed into the deal on March 5. All of the banks have committed equal amounts of $18.667m. Absa is self-arranging the deal.
