Citigroup/SSB pulled away at the head of the MTN issuance league tables this week, adding over $824m to its volumes for the year through almost 50 trades eligible for table one. The second to fifth positions remained the same as last week, but JP Morgan in third place closed the gap on Deutsche Bank in second place, the former adding 30 issues to its total and some $930m. The US bank's activity made it the busiest desk this week, while the German bank could only manage 22 trades totalling around $565m.
