Not one to be easily deterred, I sent the chap another email this week. I received a reply just minutes later, declining and apologising as he was “snowed under with work”, appearing to have just forwarded me his previous response.
Unimpressed by his lack of creativity, I couldn’t help but wonder what he was snowed under with, considering the way markets have slumped this week.
But as the first week back seems identical to last summer’s rout, no doubt the poor fellow is desperately trying to work out how he will make his budget in 2016. Happy New Year!
