Japan rights issue changes coming — but not yet

Japanese companies are hoping to use right issues as a way of raising money after the country’s parliament changes a prospectus rule that has scuppered the development of a rights issue market. But it could take until December before any concrete changes are made, according to bankers and analysts in the country.
