Top RBS bankers resign, but bond business escapes axe — for now

Top RBS bankers Suneel Kamlani and John Owen have resigned following Group CEO Ross McEwan’s announcement that their divisions would be folded into corporate and institutional banking.

Donald Workman, chairman of Asia Pacific for the bank, will head the new division. An internal memo seen by GlobalCapital said that Peter Nielsen, co-CEO of markets, would team up with Workman to shape the future direction of this business.
