Strong domestic bid helps Heraeus and Strabag print

Heraeus, a German precious metals and technology company, and Austrian construction group Strabag were able to rely on strong domestic support to successfully print the only two corporate bond issues in the European market this week.

Bankers welcomed the transactions as encouraging signs that deals were still feasible, although many also cautioned that they were not a true reopening of the market, which has been shut to other issuers for two weeks.
