Sberbank CIB continues hiring spree

Sberbank CIB has continued the expansion of its merchant banking division with hires from Kazakh investment group Visor Capital and VTB Capital.

Jonathan Gillbanks, formerly chief financial officer at Visor, will join Sberbank Merchant Banking as managing director with responsibility for structuring and marketing funds for attracting external investment.

He will also collaborate with other members of the team on merchant banking deals, focusing specifically on TMT projects.
