Bank of Ireland reveals more on rights issue
The Irish government’s stake in Bank of Ireland could rise to 87.7%, depending on the result of the Eu4.35bn capital raising plan for the bank. BoI announced further details of the proposals on Wednesday, but bankers involved declined to speculate on likely investor take-up for what could be a rights issue as big as Eu2.23bn.
