Barclays sets blueprint for sector with quick-fire rights

Barclays executives might not have liked the UK Prudential Regulation Authority’s calculation of a higher-than-expected £12.8bn capital shortfall under a strict leverage ratio definition, or a demand to meet the target by an earlier-than-expected 2014, but they certainly did not waste time in dealing with the issue.
